Missions & Objectives
The Department of Medical Research at Shuang-Ho Hospital serves as the core of hospital-wide research and development. We are committed to integrating clinical, scientific, database, and industrial resources to establish a comprehensive research support environment. Through research project management, academic output guidance, clinical research promotion, research talent cultivation, and interdisciplinary collaboration platforms, we assist medical personnel in transforming clinical questions into research plans. Utimately we aim at generating research outputs and innovative applications with a tangible impact on healthcare, thereby elevating the hospital’s overall research capabilities and global competitiveness.

Our Visions

We believe that research is not merely about publishing papers, but a crucial pathway to improving healthcare quality and creating health value.
Grounded in our core values of “Integration, Empowerment, Innovation, and Translation”, the Department of Medical Research connects internal and external research resources, nurtures clinical research talent, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and international exchange, and advances the transition of research findings from bench to bedside. We hope to extend academic value into societal impact and building a medical research ecosystem that combines scientific depth with industry engagement.
